The TYROX goggles come with extra wide facial contact area and specially compacted ventilation foam for minimum airflow make TYROX particularly well suited for more elongated facial forms. The Tyrox goggles are used by a number of world ski-ing teams including Thomas Grandi of Canada.

100% UV-A, -B and -C- protection up to 400 nm (protection against damage of the retina);
Turbo Venting System provides increased ventilation to help prevent lens fogging;
Fogstop Coating applied to lens to prevent lens fogging;
Thermocoating provides improved insulation properties, and therefore greater safety due to better sight;
Thermoblock 20% greater freedom from lens misting giving you a more relaxed skiing experience;
Diamond Coating provides 50% higher resistance to scratching, reduced strain on the eyes and less problematic vision thanks to clearer lenses;
High Contrast Polarized System provides 100% absorption of reflected light. Glare-free vision. Increased safety due to Colour Feedback. Extreme contrast enhancement offers 30% more contrast.

The toughest testing requirements for ski goggles are currently imposed by European CE-tests, including impact damping capabilities, effectiveness of the strap system as well as range of vision.

All ALPINA goggles comply with the latest European CE EN 174:2001 standard.
